Becky Johnson is the proprietress of the Sweetie Pie Press, a Parkdale-based craft outfit that makes 1″ buttons, buttons sets, mysterious envelopes, crocheted miscellany, the odd printed materials and other things. Since 2006, she has also been working with talented artists the world over to develop limited edition sets on the world’s smallest canvases – 1″ buttons.
Becky also organizes events for City of Craft (another local crafty event collective), teaches crochet sporadically at The Knit Cafe and serves as a deacon with Toronto’s chapter of the Church of Craft (this also means teaching craft skills).
